It is critical. Northland's warm, humid, salt-laden environment accelerates corrosion faster than most other parts of New Zealand. Hot-dip galvanising submerges the entire frame in molten zinc for complete protection, inside and out. Spray-on or painted finishes will not last in Northland conditions.
Can I get parts and support in Northland?
Yes. We ship genuine replacement parts for all Alpha trailer models to Northland. Bearings, rollers, lights, winch straps, and all other spares are available and posted directly to you.
What trailer do I need for a small tinny in Whangarei Harbour?
For small tinnies and dinghies in the 10 to 14-foot range, our AT 350, AT 400, or AT 450 models are ideal.
