What you actually get.
Heavy-duty structural steel
Our chassis steel is a higher grade than what most budget trailers use. The grade is more consistent, the welding behaviour more predictable, and the long-term durability noticeably better than the lower-grade steel some NZ brands use to keep prices down. This is the foundation of everything else.
Hot-dip galvanising — thicker than the minimum
Every Alpha trailer is hot-dip galvanised after fabrication, with a coating thickness above the AS/NZS 4680 minimum. That means more zinc to give up to the salt before steel sees daylight. We've seen Alphas pulled from the water for ten years still looking like new.
Direct from us, not via a dealer
Most NZ trailers go through a dealer network. Each tier adds a margin. We sell direct from our Waikato yard, deliver nationwide, and pass the savings on. That's why our trailers are competitively priced across the range — same spec, often better.
Built around how Kiwis launch
Steep concrete ramps, gravel beach launches, salt and brackish water. The Alpha range is spec'd around how Kiwis actually use trailers — not a generic global build sheet. Spring rollers, carpet pads, skid pads, all available depending on your hull and how you launch.
